FIELD SERVICES
Your planetarium is just that - YOUR planetarium! You know how you want it to run, how you want to equip it, and what programming and audiences you want! The last thing you want are some outsiders messing up your day, not to mention your fine facility! But, let's face it, sometimes you (yes, I really mean YOU!) need help to keep your facility running at peak performance! That is why JHE offers FIELD SERVICE.
Let me stop right here and make an IMPORTANT point: WE WOULD REALLY RATHER STAY HOME!!! We have families, responsibilities, and actual lives outside of work!
But if you really need us, we'll get there (more on that later)!
JHE does more than 60% of its shipping by overnight express during the course of a year in an effort to support your needs directly from our offices and shops! Those of you who are our regular customers know how successful we are at this; we invite those of you who aren't to find out! We are serious about our commitment to support after the sale!
If you do need field service, why should you get it from JHE? Our true forte is that we have the experience, equipment and parts to work on every phase of your operation - from the star projector itself (regardless of make) to video systems, to slide projection systems, to the basic electrical system, to programming and show preparation - in fact, just about every thing you can think of! Moreover, we are not content to simply do the work; we also enjoy and feel that it is essential to teach the customer (YOU) about what we are doing and why. Our philosophy is this: why should you suffer with less than ideal performance, just because it isn't time for service? We can teach you to do what we do - refer to the above important point!
"Okay", you say, "what is all this excellence going to cost me?" Your ability to "cut to the chase" is astounding! I'll match it in simplicity: $1200 per day, including travel expenses!
It's really just that easy!
Now for the hard part. "When can you come?", we're asked. Well, as it turns out, the answer is really - "When we get there!" Now, I know this sounds horribly cavalier. However, after more than 20 years of travel in planetarium effort, it would be less than honest to give you any other answer! I WILL NEVER INTENTIONALLY BE LESS THAN HONEST WITH YOU! Many factors affect a scheduled service visit negatively: travel woes, weather, other customers' emergencies (if YOUR planet cage fell off, you'd want us there, too!), purchase orders that don't come through in time, and family crises (ours or yours). Despite all these things, we historically make more than 75% of our service appointments as scheduled!
As you can probably see, we are not trolling for more service business! However, if you are already a JHE systems user (or if not, become one soon!), there is always a service slot available for you!
